Digital trade interoperability doesn't mean just one connection. It's three tiers, built in to cover every counterparty, whatever stage of digitalisation they've reached.
Direct transfer
Direct transfer reaches other Enigio customers, customers of connected platforms like TradeGo and CargoX, and any platform that conforms to interoperability standards like DCSA.
Open transfer
Anyone can receive a document through traceoriginal.com without an account, a contract, or a fee — work with it, pass it on, done.
Paper fallback
If a party is for any reason unable to receive documents digitally, trace:original lets you change the original to a paper format, in accordance with MLETR, verified by ICC DSI and approved by IGP&I.
In theory, digital trade should be simple: create a document, send it to a counterparty, and continue the transaction without delay. In practice, it rarely works that way. Trade involves many parties, many document types and many levels of digital maturity. A lasting solution must be able to work across all of them.
