In 2019, the ITFA (International Trade & Forfaiting Association) Fintech Committee launched the DNI Initiative, the most specialised community of technology firms, financial institutions and corporates dedicated to digitise negotiable trade instruments following the UNCITRAL’s MLETR. In this journey, over the last two years, Enigio has been proudly engaged and among other things developed the ITFA dDOC Manager demo application.
Recently, the committee has attracted 12 new institutions to join the DNI Initiative community:
- UK Export Finance
- Emirates NBD
- Lloyds Bank
- Norex International
- Coriolis Technologies
- XDC Network
Enigio is delighted to welcome the new members since working together is important to push the boundaries and the legislators in the right direction to digitise trade. Take the opportunity to try the dDOC Manager demo environment!
With the application, all ITFA members can freely test all the steps to digitally create, exchange and manage any type of documents such as bank guarantees, bills of exchange, promissory notes, bills of lading etc.
This is also an opportunity for financial institutions, corporates, fintechs and platforms to try trace:original, a unique document technology to create and manage digital negotiable instruments and documents of title in accordance with the MLETR.
The objective of launching the demo system is for anyone to understand the necessity and the usability of digital original documents across various platforms and channels including e-banking, EBICS and SWIFT’s FileAct. Moreover, anyone can assess the impact that the integration of technology brings in their own environment and the communication with other key stakeholders.
